Decree 21/2006 of the 14 of February on the adoption of criteria of eco efficiency drafted by the Generalitat of Catalonia, and published in the D.O.G. The 16 of February of 2006.

The Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia has considered priority draft, with character of urgency, this Decree of the adoption of criteria of the eco efficiency in the buildings, in the way to conceive, design, build and use the buildings, from the perspective of the environmental sustainability

With the end to do front to this problematic environmental and framed inside the general politics of sustainability of the Government of the Generalitat of Catalonia, this Decree pose like a first performance that will do is missing to develop and adapt to the technological developments future. In this first performance this thought is meant to influence in the uses buildings more usual fixing some parameters of eco efficiency that grouping in four fields: water, energy, material and constructive systems and waste. Like operative form, the Decree warns that all the projects of edification of the buildings that contemplate owe to integrate criteria, constructive systems, technologies and measures that do possible a sustainable development of the sector of the edification.

Is will of the Decree that the edificatory sector of Catalonia lace and of answer effective to the exigencies of the Convention Marc of the Nations Joined on the Climatic Change and of his concretion in the protocol of Kioto when it prescribes the article 2 that "...With the end to promote the Sustainable development the countries will apply and/or will follow elaborating political and measures in compliance with the national circumstances and, for example, the foment of the energetic efficiency in the pertinent sectors of his economy".

DECREE

21/2006, of 14 of February, by which regulates the adoption of environmental criteria and of eco efficiency in the buildings.

Article 6

-Parameters of eco efficiency relative to the materials and constructive systems.
6.1 In the building of the building, will do is missing to obtain a global punctuation minimum of 10 points by means of the utilization of some/s of the solutions constructive following:
d) Utilization of systems pre industrialized like minimum in 80% of the surface of the structure: 6 POINTS.
